Initial notification and repeat notification

Initial notification (registering the licence) and repeat notifications must be made electronically through GISA in order to be valid.

  • envisaged sales from offering travel services in a statement signed by a tax consultant (see form to be filled in by tax consultant);
  • agreement with the settlement agent;

Trade licence

Please note that you need to hold a qualified trade licence before you can register a licence for travel services. Trade licences whose scope includes travel services, i.e. travel agents and hotels/restaurants, qualify. A travel service licence does not extend the scope of the underlying licence: if you operate a hotel/restaurant which entitles you to offer travel services within the meaning of Section 111 (4) 3 of the 1994 Trade Act (GewO 1994), you must not exceed the scope of the hotel/restaurant licence even if you have registered the travel service licence.

Advice

Please keep your contact information and e-mail address up to date because GISA will send you information and reminders when a notification becomes necessary.
